I've stopped in this shop on more than one occasion. I have only had a good experience each visit. The parts that I needed were not always in stock but the proprietor was amicable, knowledgeable and very professional. I suggest you consider this establishment for you repairs and draw your own conclusion.
I am new to ware, here just a week. I stopped in to see if they could do a real quick solder job on a USB wifi adapter, a 30 second repair, , I did not have my solder iron as I just got into town, so he asked if I could leave it over night, strange but I said ok. I then told him that I had spent all my money moving into my new place and would not receive my SSI check until the first, thinking maybe he would do me a favor as it really is not a big deal to solder the 4 contacts, 30 seconds at most, I know because I hold a certificate as an EBA, (Electronic bench assembler).
now I am 51 years old, collecting Disability, I asked how much, he said $10, well ok he is in business to make money right? then he threw it back at me and said "come back when you have money" wow! really? this is how you treat a customer, now I would have done more business with this guy had he done me the favor, I need a tv, and would have purchased one from him. but instead of being a decent human being, once he found out I would not have $10 till the first of the month he became cold and callus, tossed my USB stck back at me. I will never do business with this company, ever. what ever happened to kindness and compassion? not a nice man, thats for sure.
